I totally agree. She has a book out now too. A BOOK! She managed to write a whole book based on a 30 second phone conversation that she and she alone had with her husband? How do we know that he said what he said at all? On top of that, everyone says how these men sacrificed themselves for their country. Are we sure that they were thinking this? Perhaps they thought that they could overpower the terrorists and regain control of the plane, maybe they actually did regain control and crashed it themselves. I agree that this was a horrible event, but instead of supporting this woman, go donate blood.
Or...
donate canned food
be nice to someone
smile
donate old toys or clothes
find a local family in need
Lisa has enough..

I had that same argument (we don't really know what happened on the plane) a week or so before the 11th. I might have been talking to a rock. Refreshing to see that other people are realistic about this...

Worse, Lisa Beamer didn't have the conversation with her husband at all--he was talking to a 911 operator. His conversation was related to her 2nd hand. She said the day of the attacks that "Let's roll" sounded just like him, that he would say that all the time to the kids.

Good info, Christy. We're basing all of this hero-worship and hype on the supposition that those were Todd's words. They very well may not have been.

As a medic there on 9/11 in New York, I'm glad other people finally see what all of us in e.m.s see and that's a greedy, selfish so called grieving widow making a fortune by calling herself a hero also. Insulting to anyone involved one way or another that awful day. We don't know all that happened and who....we only see and hear from LISA!
