Upgrade
I just upgraded the site to the new version of Movable Type which was primarily released to handle spam comments and spam trackbacks. Hopefully I start to see an improvement in that soon. We haven't gotten too many of them, but the ones we do get are a pain.
Oh, and I am using orkut now too. It is pretty cool so far, but time will tell if it is of any use.

Hey Dave, how did the upgrade go? I have it downloaded, I just didn't install it yet. I can't wait till MT 3 comes out, that is going to be spiffy.
It actually was really easy and went off without a hitch. I was surprised because previous versions had required a little more work. None were hard, but this one was ready to go without any prodding. The filtering on comments is nice too. Take a look at the link listed in the status bar when you mouse over your name (or mine) on this post. I am hoping that this cuts down on the spammers.
3.0 is gonna rock. I can't wait. Someday I will actually buy a legitimate version of MT. It is quite possibly one of the best written pieces of software I have seen in a long time.
