DC for the DNC

Both Tara and I are still catching up on sleep after a very long (and yet at the same time very short) weekend in DC. We headed down there to attend the Winter DNC meeting where Tara's boss (now former boss) Howard Dean was sworn in as the new Chairman of the Democratic National Committee.

DNC Meeting Room

All in all it was a very exciting weekend and we had a great time hanging out with Clay for the first time in almost a year. (I miss causing chaos with him)

On Sunday we tried to get close enough to see the White House, but the way they have the area cordoned off you can't get within 5 blocks of the place. Instead we checked out the Washington Monument, the Capitol Building and whatever else we could glimpse.
