Fat Actress on Letterman

The other night Kirstie Alley made the most baffling and moronic comment on The Late Show. As an overweight woman she said "There's something WRONG with guys that only want to bang fat chicks" which was then tentatively repeated by Dave Letterman right there on the stage.

The rest of her interview was equally awkward and successfully proved that she is a complete and utter nitwit. I found her to be one of the most insensitive people in the world. As an overweight woman working to get control over her diet and weight, she excluded herself from the group that she is taking advantage of by publicizing this process.

The sad part is that dumb ignorant Americans who are too lazy to think critically about anything will love her new show Fat Actress. The intention of the show seems genuine, and isn't a bad idea. That said, I think the entire thrust of the show is two-pronged

The one redeeming factor that slightly helps the situation is that the Fat Actress website uses the Violent Femmes song, I hope you got fat.

"Fat Actress," Kirste Alley's new combat show is a real kick in the face to both paparazzi and most Americans. It is rare amoung people to use their weakness as a weapon of self defense. Once women (espacially actresses) gain weight, they usually drift off behind the scenes and resurface as they lose weight. Never before has someone so couragously embraced this oppirtunity as a carreer launcher.
My hat goes off to Ms. Alley, she represents not only the pressure's of all modern day women, but the sterotype of Hollywood actresses.

The premise of the show to actually have a "fat" woman show on camera is unique. As Dave said there are a million things wrong with the show. I hate the stereotypical jokes about Black men liking fat women. I'm pissed off beyond belief that this show is nothing but a way for Alley to have the last laugh by ending her show "thin" and winning. When in America are we going to say no to fat discrimination?

I absolutely LOVE "Fat Actress" I find it an intelligent satire on life in Hollywood as well as life in general. Such an exageration is required to push us to ask questions and is actually a benefit to those who suffer from weight problems and eating disorders. Kelly Preston was eating "tissues" and suggesting a "parasite" to loose weight...come on!!!REALLY listen to the message here,it's a satire, exactly the opposite of what you see but you know that, right??? I get the message Kirstie and I can't believe I'm the only one!
Many thanks from Canada..:o)
