Long Nails
So the thinking while building this house must have gone along these lines:
"If a one-inch nail is good for the job, then a six-inch nail is six times as good, right?"
I almost broke a window trying to pull one of these babies out of the wall.

I am so amazed at the nails that they used in trim in this house....seems you are coming into the same issues.
