The door to somewhere
A few weeks ago, we had a front door that opened onto a four-foot drop into muddy grass. True, it was a door on the front of the house, and therefore became the official Front Door, but without a path to the door or a means for ascending four feet to the entrance, it was useless.
As of last week, the door is now a window. Spacing was tweaked to bring the opening symetrical with the other three windows and a matching frame and pane were brought over from another spot on the porch.
And as for the door itself, we found a home for it on the side entryway, which only had a screen and glass until now.
